Joe Ladensack

Joe Ladensack was a highly decorated Infantry officer in Vietnam who came home to become a Roman Catholic Priest, school administrator, medical practice business manager, youth pastor, social worker, and hospice chaplain. He considers each to be a mission from God in his life-long journey. Ladensack lives in retirement with his wife, Anita Dawson Ladensack, in Tucson, Arizona. They are fifteen minutes from their son, Charlie Cooper, and his spouse, Allison Ewing-Cooper.

Joseph A. Reaves

Joseph A. Reaves is a journalist, author, and former Major League Baseball front office executive who has lived and worked on five continents as a correspondent during a forty-year career. He was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize five times by the Chicago Tribune and Arizona Republic.

This is his fourth non-fiction book. He is also author of chapters on the history of baseball in Korea and China in two other collections.

Reaves received his undergraduate degree in journalism from Louisiana State University, where he is a member of the Manship School of Communication Hall of Fame. He has a Master of Philosophy in historical research from the University of Hong Kong and a Ph.D in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from Arizona State University. Reaves and his wife, Lynne, live in Scottsdale, Arizona, with their two Labrador retrievers, Harry and Caray.
