E. Lawrence Adams

E. LAWRENCE ADAMS served in Vietnam as an Infantry platoon leader with The First Infantry Division. His decorations include the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart medals. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute, a Master’s degree in engineering from the University of Virginia, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. Now retired, he worked for a global environmental engineering firm. While managing the Asia operations, he returned to Vietnam numerous times and discovered the beauty of its people and its land.
